The Chemistry — Pre-Medicine B.S. degree program provides a solid background in the chemistry, biochemistry, biological sciences, mathematics and physics courses that are required for medical school.
Careers and Graduate School
Students with a B.S. degree in Chemistry — Pre-Medicine typically go on to medical school. However, other higher education and career opportunities also exist depending on the interest of the graduate.
Upon completion the requirements for the B.S. degree with a major in chemistry, students are eligible for professional status in the American Chemical Society. Completion of a B.A. degree in chemistry does not qualify students for certification.
