Dear Bobcat: 

You are receiving this email message because you are registered for second session and/or full summer semester classes 2023-24 at 51ÉçÇø. Please check  or  to review your class schedule. If you are not attending 51ÉçÇø this second summer session or full summer semester and are still registered for classes, please contact your academic college or regional campus student services office.

The deadline dates listed later in this message are for classes that meet the standard dates for second summer session and full summer semester. However, many students (especially those enrolled in OHIO Online, eCampus programs) take classes that meet during different dates from the second summer session or full summer semester dates. Therefore, it is important to check the add/drop/withdraw dates for each course you are registered to take during second summer session or full summer semester. These dates will vary on a class-by-class basis and may be different from those listed below.

To find specific deadline dates, such as the last day to drop or last day to withdraw, click on the calendar icon in your weekly schedule in .  Please note: these dates can vary on a class-by-class basis depending on the class start date and end date. Deadlines are 5:00 p.m. Eastern on the date indicated (unless otherwise noted). However, online transactions may be processed beyond 5:00 p.m. Eastern if the system is available.

Some Important dates from the  for second session classes. Class specific deadlines are for classes that meet second session (7/1/24 – 8/17/24):

  • Thursday, July 4, 2024, Independence Day holiday (University offices officially closed; classes not in session).  Note: Dining halls are closed (sack meal service available).
  • Friday, July 5, 2024, is the last day to register for second summer session and the last day to add a second summer session class.
  • Friday, July 5, 2024, is the last day to remove a second summer session class from your academic record with possible fee adjustment. Note: From July 6 – August 2, students may withdraw from one or more second summer session classes, but the course will remain on the student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
  • Monday, July 15, 2024, is the last day to apply for graduation for summer semester.
  • Friday, August 2, 2024, is the last day to withdraw from (drop) an individual class on your second summer session schedule. Note: Course remains on student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
  • Friday, August 16, 2024, is the last day to withdraw (drop all second session classes) from the University for second summer session (contact college or regional campus student services office). Note: Courses remain on student’s academic record with withdrawn grades and no fee adjustment.
  • Saturday, August 17, 2024, is the last day of classes and closing date for second summer session. Note: Final examinations are scheduled for the last meeting time of each individual class.

Some important dates to remember for full summer semester classes. Class specific deadlines are for classes that meet the full semester (5/13/24 – 8/17/24):

  • Friday, August 16, 2024, is the last day to withdraw (drop all full summer semester classes) from the University for full summer semester (contact college or regional campus student services office). Note: Courses remain on student’s academic record with withdrawn grades and no fee adjustment.
  • Saturday, August 17, 2024, is the last day of classes and closing date for full summer semester. Note: Final examinations are scheduled for the last meeting time of each individual class.
  • Thursday, August 22, 2024, full summer semester grades available.
  • Saturday, August 24, 2024, summer probation status available.
