About the Collection

The Lloyd E. Moore (1931鈥2010) digital collection features the photography of Moore, a southeast Ohio photographer and lawyer who lived in Ironton for over thirty years before retiring to Athens. Content in the digital collection includes images taken by Moore as a United States Marine during the Korean War, selections from his abstract and vernacular photography, and examples from what Moore called 鈥渆go鈥 shots, which involved Moore holding a camera at arm鈥檚 length and photographing himself with others or objects (pre-cell phone 鈥渟elfies鈥).
