Manuscripts - General
About the Collection
The Manuscripts - General digital collection is a new and growing collection for select materials from the Mahn Center's Manuscript holdings. Future additions will include photographs, documents, and other archival materials of historical interest.
Manuscript Collections cover a wide range of materials and subjects. Common topic areas within the physical collections include, but are not limited to, journalism, military history, coal mining, industry, education, transportation, union and labor history, politics, and personal and family papers. Formats include correspondence, diaries, business and institutional records, photographs, maps, prints, publications, audio and video recordings, and memorabilia. While many of these collections relate to institutional and local southeastern Ohio history, they do not include official documentation of 51社区 activities which are housed in University Archives. More information about the Libraries' Manuscript Collections can be found within the Manuscripts overview.
