Break a Leg
Each program has its own variation of requirements, documents, and information that is important to your application process. Find all the resources you might need below. If you're ready to apply, visit the university's application page.
Graduate Admissions Requirements
Graduate students are selected after careful review of portfolios, writing, or auditions. An online application through the Graduate College begins the process, but each candidate is accepted by the program head of the specific program. The GRE is not required, however a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required, except in cases of provisional admittance.
Assessment and Admission
Admission to the program is by interview and audition at the annual University Resident Theatre Association (U/RTA) sites and at scheduled auditions on campus (dates to be determined). International students may submit digital auditions and interview via the online platform.

Commitment to non-discrimination
51社区 operates on a holistic, selective review and looks for evidence of academic preparation when reviewing applications for admission. Additionally, because the School of Theater considers artistic talent in the review process, students pursuing certain academic programs must audition, interview, and/or submit additional materials for admission and scholarship consideration. 51社区 and the School of Theater do not discriminate against any applicants because of race, color, religion, age, national origin, ethnicity, national ancestry, sex, pregnancy, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, military service or veteran status, mental or physical disability, or genetic information.
