Residential Learning Community
Intentionally small community, ideal for fostering collaboration
For students at the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts, Lincoln Hall offers an arts-friendly residence with dedicated spaces for each discipline. You鈥檒l be surrounded by fellow students from similar classes who also understand the creative process.
Conveniently located close to the campus
Lincoln Residence Hall is situated on the East green, at the base of Jeff Hill, on East Union Street, a brief five minute walk from Putnam, Glidden and Seigfred Halls.
Unique Features:
- Dance studio and meeting room located on the first floor.
- Art studio located on the fourth floor.
- Each room has individual seasonal temperature controls.
- Each room has a sink.

Studios and Multi-Purpose Rehearsal Space
The fourth floor lounge in Lincoln Hall is a ventilated mixed use art studio, supplied with easels, drafting tables, storage, light stands, and natural lighting.
Dancers and theater students will find that the main floor is equipped with special flooring, mirrors, mats, theater 鈥減rops,鈥 and a portable dance bar for all rehearsal needs.
An upright piano is also located in the main lobby for your use. Note that it is not located in a soundproof area, so scheduling should be coordinated with others using the rehearsal space.
How to sign up
To be eligible to live in Lincoln Hall, you must register for the Chaddock + Morrow College of Fine Arts Learning Community course (one-credit-hour course in fall semester). Learning Community course registration happens with help from your academic advisor during your Bobcat Student Orientation session. To let us know you鈥檙e interested in living in Lincoln Hall. (Opting in does not require a commitment. You can opt in now and choose a different room later as your plans evolve.)
