This year's symposium also features on Acid Mine Drainage to Paint Pigment Field Trip to Millfield, Ohio, to tour the 鈥淭rue Pigments鈥 pilot treatment facility and acid mine drainage discharge. Hear from experts from Rural Action and 51社区 on the history of mining reclamation, technology developed to recover acid mine drainage waste materials and the process to convert them to a useable product. This tour will also travel to 51社区鈥檚 campus to see firsthand the engineering laboratory used for research and development and the art studio where this waste by-product is transformed into art.鈥
