We never stopped believing in you.

We have been here since 1804, and we will still be here when you are ready to earn the degree that will help you reach your dreams. We welcome your return to our community, whether through virtual classrooms or in-person interactions, as you pursue the courses necessary for graduation.

  • 1. Submit Re-Enrollment Form

    Students who have already attended 51社区 do not need to reapply. Submitting a reenrollment form tells us that you would like your student record to be active so you can continue your studies.

  • 2. Contact an Advisor

    • If you would like to continue in your current major please contact your college office or your current advisor for assistance.
    • If you would like to change your major or need general advising, please make an appointment with Jenny Klein, Director of Re-Enrollment and Completion Programs
  • 3. Send Transcripts

    After you have received confirmation that your reenrollment form has processed, send official transcripts from any other schools you have attended since your last 51社区 enrollment to schools to:

  • 4. Discuss Financial Aid

    Meet with an 51社区 financial aid counselor to develop and commit to a plan for paying for the remainder of your degree. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to access available loans, grants, and scholarships.

  • 5. Check your MyOHIO Student Center

    Log into your MyOHIO Student Center to update your personal information and review your academic progress. You may need to .

  • 6. Consider Your Housing Options

    If you plan to live on campus in Athens, contact Housing and Residence Life.

Financial Hold Assistance

The Bobcats Comeback Program is designed to assist 51社区 students who a financial hold. If you meet these requirements, please contact us for further assistance:

  • Not enrolled for two consecutive semesters (fall / spring or spring / fall)
  • Within 15 credit hours of finishing an associate degree or within 30 credit hours of completing a bachelor鈥檚 degree
  • Have had a prior unpaid balance placed with the Ohio Attorney General office.

This program provides up to $1500 for students completing a bachelor鈥檚 degree and up to $750 for students completing an associate鈥檚 degree. To learn more about the Bobcats Comeback and if you are eligible, please contact Jenny Klein.
