The Institute for Sustainable Energy and the Environment was awarded two awards from the Department of Energy totaling $2 million.
The Sustainability Awards recognize students, staff, faculty, departments and community members or organizations for their outstanding contributions to sustainability.
The national Campus Race to Zero Waste challenge encourages colleges and universities to reduce their waste through various competitions.Â
