The Office of Clinical Education and the Clinical Education Network support and facilitate the continuum of care throughout medical education, focusing on undergraduate medical school (clinical years 3 and 4), then graduate medical education (GME or residency), and moving into continuing medical education and lifelong learning for physicians.
PARTNERS IN MEDICAL EDUCATION
Heritage College has exceptional clinical partners across the state, which provide clinical experiences for medical students throughout all four years of their education and into residency. We are proud to highlight our preeminent partnerships within the Clinical Education Network with both Cleveland Clinic and OhioHealth. Kettering Health in Dayton, Ohio, also partners with Heritage College, serving as our only regional clinical campus. Heritage College has other exceptional partnerships across the state with health care systems, hospitals and ambulatory care settings that provide high-quality clinical experiences for medical students throughout all four years of their education.
Supporting Heritage College medical students across all three campuses is achieved through an interconnected and coordinated statewide support system comprised of geographic divisions and units, each of which is anchored by a Heritage College campus (Athens, Cleveland and Dublin) paired with partnering hospitals serving as clinical education cohort sites.
