About

Rebecca Bryant, DNP, RN, FNP -BC completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from Miami University in 1984. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing was completed in 1998 from University of Cincinnati, with a Master of Science/Family Nurse Practitioner obtained from Wright State University in 2000. In 2013, Rebecca completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wright State University.

Rebecca has worked as a nurse practitioner since 2000 in areas of rural family practice, urban fast track care, urgent care/occupational health, and state corrections medicine. She currently is the owner and practitioner of a house call practice providing primary care and chronic disease management to the rural elderly population in Ohio. She is an Associate Professor at 51ÉçÇø in the School of Nursing graduate programs in Athens, Ohio. She is also the FNP program track lead, Chair of the Committee of Graduate Studies, and Bio Medical Research and Compliance member at the university. Research interests include self-care in chronic disease management, geriatric delivery care models, and palliative care.
