Research Interests
Fluvial Sedimentology and Sequence Stratigraphy
- Fluvial transitions
- Nonmarine sequence stratigraphy
- Dinosaur track
- Distal sequence stratigraphy of Appalachian Basin
My research interests mainly focus on fluvial sedimentology and sequence stratigraphy of the Pennsylvanian age strata in southeastern Ohio. The combination of high frequency eustatic sea level changes and a variable tectonic subsidence rate led to complex and interesting patterns of terrestrial and shallow marine facies. I also dabble in the sedimentological aspects of vertebrate ichnology.
