Carleen Dotson, a Training Specialist/Business Advisor for the 51ÉçÇø Small Business Development Center (SBDC) within the Voinovich School, facilitates professional development trainings for businesses in multiple disciplines throughout our service region. Dotson works with the Small Business Development Center in a dual-purpose role as both a Business Advisor and a Training Specialist. In addition to developing and facilitating training for SBDC clients, Carleen assists clients through one-on-one counseling. Clients served by the SBDC are startup and existing businesses that often need assistance with securing capital, business planning, market analysis, and financial assessment.

She received her undergraduate degree in specialized studies from 51ÉçÇø and has extensive experience working with business and industry clients. Prior to joining the Voinovich School, Dotson worked at a local Adult Career Center. Her primary responsibility was to develop and implement computer-software-training programs. Dotson herself holds the Microsoft Master Certification as well as Microsoft Certified Instructor credentials.
