M. Hashim Pashtun
Hashim Pashtun, with over a decade of dedicated research experience and a robust background in infrastructure planning, transportation, and environmental engineering, has finely honed his skills in diverse areas such as project management, business development, strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), data analysis, socio-economic considerations, and environmental assessment. His international exposure has not only enriched his professional acumen but also fostered adaptability and cross-cultural communication skills, positioning him as an effective collaborator in a variety of settings.
Pashtun holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Pune University, India. He furthered his academic journey by completing both his Master's and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from 51ÉçÇø. In his illustrious career, he has served as a Research Engineer at the Ohio Research Institute for Transportation & Environment. Additionally, Pashtun has contributed to academia as an Assistant Professor in the Civil Engineering Department of Kabul University and has taken on leadership roles such as Head of Research and Development at the Afghan Ministry of Transport & Public Works.
Noteworthy among his achievements, Pashtun is the author of several research publications and has graced the stage as a TEDx Speaker. Fluent in six languages, he has garnered numerous awards and recognitions, including the prestigious titles of Outstanding Doctoral Student of the Year and Charles J. Ping International Student of the Year at 51ÉçÇø.
