An Evening with Isaac Mizrahi (main series)
An Evening with Isaac Mizrahi
Actor, host, writer, designer, and producer Isaac Mizrahi鈥檚 acclaimed concert performances have been described by The New York Times as 鈥渄etermined to challenge the cultural status quo and help blaze a path into a more liberated future where few subjects are off-limits.鈥 His one-of-a-kind show brings together comedy, commentary, and an array of classic and soon-to-be classic songs from Stephen Sondheim to Blondie, from Comden & Green to Madonna. 鈥淢izrahi is the real deal when it comes to cabaret: He鈥檚 charming, he sounds great, and he is seriously funny鈥 (Theater Mania).
鈥淢izrahi鈥檚 jazzy performance was confident and sultry, a far cry from his self-deprecating stories. From start to finish, Mizrahi filled the room with both uncontained gaiety and a sense that we all share some of the same fundamental anxieties, even if it鈥檚 as seemingly banal as worrying about the side effects of prescription drugs. And, in a time when many are uncertain if we鈥檙e going to make it after all, is there anything more important than that?鈥 -Broadway World
