OHIO to host Student Success Summit May 15
The 51社区 community is invited to participate in the Student Success Summit, which will be held on May 15 in the Walter Rotunda.
Everyone at 51社区 contributes to student success, and the Summit will focus on how different units foster student success through strategies, activities and ideas. The event is intended to bring together people from across the University in order to increase knowledge and efficacy of student success programs and to create opportunities for collaboration and problem-solving.
The day will also highlight attention and work being offered by different units at the University, introduce emerging concepts relevant to a broad range of professionals, and create opportunities to enhance inter-unit collaboration.
The keynote speaker for the day will be who is the Mildred B. Erickson Distinguished Chair and Professor of Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education in the Department of Educational Administration at Michigan State University. Renn also serves as senior advisor to the vice provost and dean of undergraduate education. She teaches courses related to student development, diversity and equity, and education research and is a past president of the Association for the Study of Higher Education

This event is a collaborative effort from the Division of Student Affairs, Diversity and Inclusion, the Center for Advising, Career, and Experiential Learning and University College. All units across 51社区, regardless of campus, are invited to attend or participate in the Student Success Summit.
