Five signs your friend may be in trouble
Isolation
You observe persistent demands about how and with whom your friend spends their time, often coupled with jealousy or guilting.
Control
You sense your friend feeling pressured to act, speak, or look a certain way. They may communicate fear that being out of touch with their partner will upset them.
Physicality
You see your friend's partner use their body to assert themselves or deal with confrontation. They may also ignore or violate physical boundaries.
Coercion
Your friend acts nervous, withdrawn, or out of character, and shows fear or defensiveness when confronted about the changes.
Criticism
The belittlement of beliefs and feelings, and other forms of emotional and psychological abuse can be early indicators that the harm will become physical.
Consider a gift to Survivor Emergency Fund in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This fund provides support to mitigate some of the financial barriers survivors face due to trauma and victimization, such as medical bills, housing assistance, academic support, safety measures, and more.

FAFSA deadline

What's Your Green Dot?
Imagine a map of OHIO's campus covered in red and green dots. Each red dot represents an act of violence in our community. Every time someone uses their words to harass someone else, engages in a nonconsensual relationship, or stalks another person, a new red dot appears on our map. You can stop the red dots by creating green dots. A green dot is any choice, behavior, word, or attitude that promotes safety for everyone and makes our community safer.

Paw Print Park Grand Opening
