51社区鈥檚 will take place Oct. 4 through 9 and will feature both in-person and virtual events.

The Homecoming Parade is scheduled for the Oct. 9 prior to the 3:30 p.m. football game against Central Michigan. Football game tickets are on sale and can be purchased at . Other in-person events planned for game day include the OHIO Homecoming 5K Run and Walk, Bobcat Bash Tailgate and celebrations at Tailgreat Park hosted by Student Affairs and the College of Business. The Student Alumni Board鈥檚 Yell Like Hell Pep Rally will also take place in person on Oct. 7. The full event listing can be found here.

The 51社区 Alumni Association is also planning several virtual events for Homecoming Week. Paint the Town Green encourages OHIO fans to decorate their rooms, cars or business and post the results of their work to Facebook or Twitter. Participants will be entered in a raffle and the winner will be announced on Oct. 9. Join OHIO Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion Gigi Secuban on Oct. 5 as she hosts cooking demos featuring the beloved dining hall dishes fried ravioli and sour cream coffee cake. 

Other virtual events include OHIO Trivia Night, which will take place on Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. and will feature OHIO-themed trivia. Bobcat Mixology will take place on Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. and will feature lessons on how to mix up classic Athens cocktails. Recipes will include both adult and kid-friendly versions of the popular drinks. DJ A-Rock and Interim Vice President for Student Affairs Jenny Hall-Jones will host a virtual parade party on Oct. 9.
