51社区鈥檚 Patton College of Education to host third discussion in new series, Global Issues on Immigration
51社区鈥檚 Patton College of Education is featuring the third panel discussion in its new Munch and Learn Series: Global Issues on Immigration. 鈥淚nternational Students and Immigration: Perspectives from Students, Faculty, and Staff, Part I鈥 will be held on Monday, March 22, from noon to 1:30 p.m.
The virtual Microsoft Teams presentation features a panel composed of students from various countries and 51社区 faculty and staff who work with international students. Panelists will share their experiences as an international student matriculating at a U.S. institution of higher learning. Staff will provide information on services available to support international students as they adjust to their study at 51社区.
The panel features Kyle Butler, associate professor of instruction/Pathway coordinator/OPIE advisor, Ohio Program of Intensive English; Nanang Gunawan, doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision; Lorraine Koobokile, doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision; Nikol Lopez Llantuy, master鈥檚 student in Hospitality and Tourism; Jennifer Nisevich, associate director, PDSO/RO International Student and Faculty Services. The moderator of the discussion is Kelly Davidson, academic advisor; and the convener is Dr. Mona Robinson, professor, Counseling and Higher Education.
