Located conveniently in Lancaster's Student Services Suite - Room 314, our Counseling Services are here to support your journey through college and beyond. We understand that life can bring challenges, and our goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can work through them.

Office Hours


Students seeking Counseling Services December 16 through January 6 may contact Sarah Lang at 740-901-3267.

We are available to meet with you during the following times:

  • Wednesday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Group Support Options


In addition to one-on-one counseling, we offer seven engaging group sessions held twice per week, both in-person and online via TEAMS

Each session includes complimentary snacks.

Our group topics include:

  • Anxiety and Depression: Learn strategies to manage these common challenges.
  • Managing Stress: Explore ways to handle academic, financial, family, and time-related stress.
  • Isolation and Involvement: Find ways to connect with peers and join student groups.
  • Drugs and Alcohol: Discuss substance use and its impact.
  • Sleep: Understand how to improve sleep habits and routines.
  • Traumatic Experiences and Dating Violence: Process past experiences in a safe, confidential setting.
  • Communication, Boundaries, and Relationships: Build stronger connections and set healthy limits.

The CARE TEAM provides a systematic and professional response in instances where students’ behavior is concerning or disruptive to themselves, others or the community. The CARE TEAM does not provide mental health services, but we do provide faculty, staff, and students with resources and referrals.

TimelyCare


51ÉçÇø has contracted with TimelyCare, a virtual health and well-being provider, to serve OHIO Online and Regional Campus students.

Through either a mobile app or your desktop, TimelyCare provides 24/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost. Services include

  • TalkNow: 24/7, on demand emotional support.
  • Scheduled Counseling: Select the day, time, and mental health provider of your choice (6 visits per year).
  • Health Coaching: Support for developing healthy behaviors.
  • Self-Care Content: 24/7 access to self-care tools and resources, such as meditation and yoga sessions, helpful videos, and short articles from experts.
