Meet your Executive Team

President
Eirene Binabiba

Eirene N. Binabiba is a Ph.D. Candidate in Mass Communication at the Department of Media Arts and Studies. She holds a Bachelor's in Fine Arts from the University of Ghana, focusing on Theatre for Development, and a Master's in International Development from 51ÉçÇø with a concentration on gender and development. Her dissertation explores the impact of digital humanitarianism and social media on humanitarian responses during crises, with scholarly interests in the intersections of digital media, humanitarianism, and vulnerable populations.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Eirene is the founder of the ENB Foundation, a non-profit organization in Ghana dedicated to empowering women and children in underserved areas through targeted initiatives like skill training and mentorship programs. As a communications consultant, she helps organizations enhance their digital messaging through storytelling and strategic communication, positioning brands as leaders while amplifying the missions of non-profits to ensure their impact is recognized.

Hannah Bachert

Hannah Bachert is a second-year Master's student in the Dual MBA/MSA (Sports Administration) Program, having completed her first year and earned her MBA degree. Hannah is also the Assistant Coordinator for Athletic Communications in the OU Athletics Department. She is committed to developing initiatives that improve the graduate student experience, such as organizing professional development events, advocating for better funding and resources, and facilitating communication between graduate students and university administration. When she is not engaged in GSS or academic responsibilities, Hannah can be found reading, or attending OU Athletics events!

Nisha Singh

Nisha Singh is a graduate student in the Physics and Astronomy Program, and is serving her 4th year in GSS. She is thrilled to be a member of the executive committee this year, and is thankful for the opportunity to serve. When she's not supporting GSS initiatives, she loves listening to music, meeting new people and painting. She loves helping students learn more about GSS and invites prospective members to connect with her on campus.
