Business Early Assurance Programs
Ensure your place in a graduate program, gaining mentoring, skills and experience.
The College of Business offers Early Assurance Programs (EAP). Through these programs, students receive a guaranteed spot in a prominent graduate program early in an undergraduate career or as part of their admission from high school.

The College of Business also offers Acccelerated Graduate Pathway (AGP) programs. Through AGPs, students can combine both undergraduate and graduate degree programs to earn their degree more quickly.

Master of Accountancy and AnalyticsFor students interested in pursuing a career as a Certified Public Accountant, our Master of Accountancy and Analytics allows you to fulfill the education requirements and prepare for the CPA exam while earning an advanced degree – all in less than one year. You’ll also build the experience and credentials you need to set yourself apart from other that will not only help you launch a successful career in accounting but also help you advance in your career more quickly.

1-Year Master of Business AdministrationThe MBA continues to be the gold standard for anyone interested in executive leadership in today’s competitive, international business environment. Our one-year MBA delivers international business consulting experience that will boost your resume while you build a professional network that will support you for life. Plus, you’ll start in August and finish in just 10 months.
EAP Eligibility Criteria
Prospective Undergraduate Students
- Applied for and gained admission to appropriate College of Business undergraduate program for the MAcc and MSM programs or admission to OHIO Honors program for One-Year MBA
- A cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher for the MAcc and MSM, or admission to an OHIO Honors Program or HTC for One-Year MBA
Current 51ÉçÇø Students
- For MSM and MAcc EAPs: Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 while an undergraduate. (Students may enter a two-semester probation if their undergraduate GPA falls below 3.0)
- For One-Year MBA EAP: Maintain eligibility and participation in an OHIO Honors Program or HTC and successfully complete either a college-level calculus course or the Quantitative Bridge Course
- Loss of conditional admission to graduate school can occur if a student: withdraws from 51ÉçÇø; fails to complete undergraduate degree requirements within 5 years; fails to maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 for more than two semesters; fails to maintain eligibility for and participate in their OHIO Honors Program (for the One-Year MBA EAP), violates the academic or ethical conduct policies of 51ÉçÇø.

All that is required to take advantage of 51ÉçÇø’s EAP program is to declare your intent no later than your first semester of your junior year. The earlier you declare, the longer you can enjoy specialized mentorship and student development activities designed for our EAP students!
